Department of Labor WIOA Training Scholarship: Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Training scholarships help those who qualify obtain a credential or certification that can help lead to a career in one of Palm Beach County’s in-demand industries such as healthcare, hospitality, construction, information technology, and business management.

Department of Veterans Affairs:  Eligible veterans pursuing training through an apprenticeship program approved by a U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) State Approving Agency for education benefits can receive their GI BILL monthly housing allowance (MHA) in addition to their apprenticeship wages. The MHA issued will be a percentage of the U.S. Department of Defense Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) for an E-5 with dependents based on your employer’s location.

Department of Labor Youth Apprenticeships: Through partnerships with businesses, high schools, community and technical colleges, and other workforce systems, communities around the country can develop youth apprenticeship programs that make a difference in the lives of youth while supporting economic and workforce development. In 2019, there were over 100,000 youth apprentices registered, many of which were in high-growth industries like healthcare, public administration, and manufacturing.
